Job Description for Data and Research Specialist
We are looking for Data Researchers to primarily focus on researching data sources for data extraction, scraping and validation, in addition to updating a database based on the gathered information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting independent research on airline fleets and aircraft history data.
- Gathering, organizing, and evaluating data from diverse reference sources.
- Initiating contact with airline and aircraft operator executives via email or phone to procure necessary data.
- Collecting, organizing, and evaluating data related to Airline C-level contacts, Airline Financial and Passenger data, and Airline Schedule Data.
- Validating Travel Radar’s Database by cross-referencing with other opensource databases.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Python Programming Language.
- Strong grasp of Excel.
- Familiarity with WordPress.
- Solid research skills and the ability for critical thinking.
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- Competence in data warehousing is advantageous.
- Experience in Dashboard Development.
- Interest in Generative AI
